Summer Months Recap
This summer was packed with junior tennis action at Play Tennis Gainesville. Our summer camp wrapped up with strong participation and noticeable improvement across all age groups. Campers left with better skills and more excitement for the game. PTG also hosted two Level 6 junior tournaments in June and August, as well as provided courts for the county-wide Level 5 Open: Gaines Summer Smash, which took place in July.
Tournament highlights included standout performances from PTG’s High Performance Yellow Ball players:
- Earlie Taylor (Boys 18s Winner)
- Sam Dirain (Boys 14s Winner and Consolation Winner)
- Bella Freeman (Girls 16s Winner)
Other winners included Isaiah Hellman, Lella Ghiaseddin, Katelin Ossi, Logan Ossi, and Sam Diran. These players showed strong competitive spirit and represented PTG well.
