Around The Courts: PTG to Host XGLOsive Tennis Fun

Welcome back Play Tennis Gainesville tennis players! Let’s take a look at what’s been happening at PTG, preview what’s coming up, and share special events, shoutouts, and a coaching tip of the month.

September Recap

Junior programming picked up momentum in September, with strong participation across all levels. Our Advanced Yellow Ball group led the way with consistent energy and focus. Coach Annabelle returned to lead our Orange and Green Ball clinics, while Coach Noha and Coach Abigail continued to build momentum in our Red Ball program. Thanks to all the players and coaches for keeping the courts active and productive.

Adult programming also saw a boost with the return of college students and local players. Coach Joe and Coach Reese are doing a great job leading the charge. Clinics are filling up, and USTA Florida league play is in full swing with seven teams and growing. The fall season is off to a strong start.

Junior programming will continue as scheduled with no major changes this month. All regular clinics and training sessions remain in place.

Coach’s Tip of the Month

The only player you should be competing against on court is yourself. Try to be a little better today than you were yesterday. Remember three things: have fun, work hard, and play smart. Let winning take care of itself.

We’re proud of the growth happening across all programs and look forward to seeing you on the courts this month. Stay tuned for more events and updates as we move deeper into the fall season.
