The Gainesville-Ocala Women’s Tennis League (GOWTL) is popularly known as the “Women’s Day League.”  It was formed to promote competitive women’s tennis in North Central Florida. Membership in USTA is not a requirement.

Divisions within this organization are based on NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) ratings at the following levels: 2.5; 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5/5.0; Legacy. Currently, teams at the 2.5 level have matches on Friday mornings, teams at the 3.0 level play on Wednesday mornings; those at the 3.5 level play on Thursday mornings; the 4.0 and 4.5/5.0 levels play on Tuesday mornings, and the Legacy Division on Mondays.  The season runs from September to April or early May, depending on the number of teams at each level.
