T-Minus 20 days and counting! That’s right, Summer Camp is almost here at Play Tennis Gainesville and we are excited to be offering all-day activities for the kids. Starting on June 5 and running through August 4, PTG will be running nine weeks of summer fun in the sun and spots are filling up quickly.
Summer Camp will run from 9 AM until 5 PM, with plenty of fun activities to fill the day. If your child only wants to participate for half of the day, that isn’t a problem. This year, we are offering both full and half day options. Half days will operate from 9 AM until 1 PM.
If you are doing the half day, the morning session of camp will consist of tennis instruction, drills, and match play. The afternoon of camp will give the kids the choice to play other sports before ending the day with some more tennis.
Please make sure to pack lots of water, snacks and a lunch if you are doing the full day. The city of Gainesville will be providing a free lunch for everyone that participates. Please note that PTG has no influence over what is served, so feel free to pack a lunch if your child has certain dietary restrictions.
Summer is arguably the best time of the year for kids, so why not give them a summer to remember. We can’t wait for June 5, and to see you out on the tennis courts this summer!
Camp pricing starts at $179 for an entire week of full day camp, while half day for the whole week is $119. You can get a family discount if you sign up more than one of your children. Single day prices are $55 (full) and $35 (half).
Refunds can be issues under specific circumstances. However, if the weather does not cooperate, there will be rainy day activities planned from a safe location for the kids to still enjoy and no refunds will be handed out for that.
