Swing into Spring with the Junior Spring Break Camp at Play Tennis Gainesville

Play Tennis Gainesville will offer a junior spring break camp from March 22-26 to juniors of all levels aged 5-12. Head Tennis Pro, Chris Champion and Tennis Instructor, Brandon Mai will provide a safe and fun learning experience for juniors wanting to improve their game or learn the fundamentals of tennis.

“We would like to build on the success of our holiday and summer camp offerings at Play Tennis Gainesville with these spring break tennis camps for juniors,” said Frank Swope, USTA Florida Director of Tennis Management. “The Gainesville community has been supportive of these special camps during the past year, and we hope to have even more participation this spring.”

The camps will be beneficial for players of all skill levels. Each day will be broken down into drills that focus on a specific tennis stroke or strategy which participants will then use in a variety of tennis games.

“We hope these camps will help participants grow as players, improve their tennis game and give them new skills to apply to the sport in the future,” said Head Pro Christopher Champion. “Most importantly, we hope our camp participants will enjoy themselves during the week and have fun while playing safely.”

Our safe play guidelines can be found here.

The five-day spring break camp will be held March 22-26 at the Joyce Oransky Tennis Center in Westside Park.
